Contracts worth Rs. 375 Crore awarded to IL&FS Engineering Service for Ahmedabad Metro

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services), stationed at Hyderabad, has acquired a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the development of metro rail endeavor in Gujarat from Metro-Link Express for Gandhinagar & Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Limited worth Rs. 374.64 Crore.

MEGA is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) instituted by the Government of Gujarat to actualize Metro Rail Project under the Companies Act.

The venture includes conception of Viaduct Corridor from Interface Point with Gyaspur Depot to APMC Metro Rail Station to Shreyas Metro Rail Station all inclusive of Elevated Viaduct portion and four Elevated Metro Stations viz. APMC, Jivraj, Rajivnagar, and Shreyas for Package-1 of North-South Corridor for Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-I.

The Project is expected to be built within 120 weeks from the date of issue of Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
